Bruker has installed its Biospec 15.2-tesla preclinical ultrahigh-field MRI system at the Weizmann Institute of Science in Rehovot, Israel.
The research facility intends to use the device for multiplexed imaging to develop, optimize, and implement genetically engineered reporter systems for MRI with artificial multicolor characteristics. The 15.2-tesla system is designed to increase the number of artificial colors that can be observed and open new avenues for monitoring biological multiplexity, according to the institute.
