The European Journal of Radiology has named Dr. James Byrne of the University of Oxford in the U.K. as its new editor in chief.
He is a consultant interventional neuroradiologist at the John Radcliffe Hospital, is a professor of neuroradiology, and is a member of the Oxford Neurovascular and Neuroradiology Research Unit (ONNRU).
Byrne replaces Dr. Johan G. Blickman, PhD, professor and vice chairman of the department of imaging sciences at the University of Rochester Medical Center in Rochester, NY. Blickman has been named editor-in-chief emeritus of the journal.
