The German edition of the updated American College of Radiology (ACR) BI-RADS will be published later this month, according to the German Radiological Society (DRG).
The professional associations and the DRG wanted to include a commentary, but that is not going to happen, which the DRG said it understands but also regrets. The German edition will be published under the condition that the translation strictly adheres to the original.
Instead, the commentary from the working group on breast imaging (WOBI) will appear in the April issue of RöFo and other Thieme journals that are related to mammography, such as gynecology and obstetrics.
The DRG also plans to circulate the commentary at the various meetings of professional societies.
