Proton therapy technology developer Ion Beam Applications (IBA) has inked a new deal with Tomorrow Medical Systems (TMS) to install its ProteusOne single-room proton therapy system in Taiwan.
The contract, which has an estimated value of between 30 million and 35 million euros, includes the delivery of the ProteusOne equipment and a long-term service and maintenance agreement, according to the vendor. This is the second contract for the company with TMS for an installation of a proton therapy center in Taiwan; the first was signed in 2013, IBA said.
