DUBAI - Carestream Health launched its Easy Vue PACS software at this week's Arab Health meeting in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
Targeted at emerging markets, Easy Vue provides image management, archiving, reporting, and distribution in one package, according to the vendor. The modular and flexible software is suitable for clinics, hospitals, and imaging centers producing fewer than 50,000 imaging studies a year, and it can be expanded with multiple add-on modules, Carestream said.
Available add-on options include the following: adding another workstation to allow more than one radiologist to work concurrently; adding an advanced visualization workstation that includes vessel tracking, a cardiac package, and PET/CT volume matching; and adding a mammography workstation to perform breast imaging and screening.
Users can also choose to implement worklist integration with existing HIS/RIS networks, image viewing integration with existing HIS networks, a CD/DVD robot, and a film digitizer to archive historical data brought in by patients on film, Carestream said.
Carestream also exhibited its full product range in its booth at Arab Health.
