Xograph launches ortho DR system

U.K. radiology products supplier Xograph Healthcare has installed its first Adora RSA orthopedic digital radiography (DR) research system at the University of Aberdeen.

The system was designed in collaboration with the university, Danish manufacturer Nordisk Røntgen Teknik, and digital radiography firm Canon, according to Xograph of Tetbury.

Aberdeen researchers will use the system to perform radiostereometric analysis, a method for determining the migration and wear of orthopedic implants.
