Swedish PACS and digital mammography developer Sectra will showcase new PACS and digital mammography technology at the upcoming European Congress of Radiology (ECR) in March.
The Linköping-based vendor said it will present improved volume visualization functionality, with the goal of increasing the efficiency of image review and results communication. The new capabilities are fully integrated into its PACS workstation software and are designed to offer fast reading of volumetric image data and provide interactive 3D presentations of findings, Sectra said.
Sectra will also debut a new diagnostic mammography workstation platform based on its RapidConnect technology. The dedicated workstation has the ability to display MR, ultrasound, and mammography examinations side by side, and it also features dynamic worklists and automatic hanging protocols.
The firm will also display its MicroDose Mammography full-field digital mammography (FFDM) system, as well as an integrated mammography screening package that includes its Screening RIS and Breast Imaging PACS.
In other developments, Sectra will jointly show a virtual autopsy table in collaboration with the Center for Medical Image Science and Visualization (CMIV), also based in Linköping. The prototype features a multitouch screen for advanced visualization, Sectra said.
The company will also discuss developments with its single-shot spectral imaging and breast tomosynthesis activities.
