Medis, TomTec launch cardiac software

Medis Medical Imaging Systems of Leiden, the Netherlands, and TomTec Imaging Systems of Munich, Germany, have launched a joint cardiac imaging and analysis product for angiography and ultrasound.

The integrated software package features TomTec's Image-Arena and Medis' QAngio XA quantification software. It will be available as one platform that can be integrated into the products of medical device manufacturers and connects to existing PACS, HIS, cardiac PACS, and cardiac visualization information systems in hospitals.

The software is designed to reduce the integration effort for industry partners and for hospitals that want to optimize their imaging and analysis processes and data management.
