French software firm ETIAM has released an upgrade for CD-in, the company's application for importing images on CDs and DVDs or other media from outside institutions into a PACS network.
CD-in version 2 can be used at registration desks, in film rooms, or at other locations where prior studies on media need to be imported into an institution's PACS. Upgrades in the new version include improved productivity, an enhanced user interface, and an extended range of supported media, according to Rennes-based ETIAM.
