Swedish image enhancement developer ContextVision will introduce its GOPiCE US ultrasound volumetric filtering software at this week's American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine (AIUM) meeting in New York City.
The software filters 3D ultrasound volumes in real-time, removing speckle and other artifacts, according to the Stockholm-based firm. It leverages graphics processing units (GPUs) to process up to 24 volumes per second at 128 x 128 x 182 pixels, or 40 volumes in single-planar reconstruction mode, ContextVision said.
