CMS' IMRT lands three new installs

The Monaco intensity-modulated radiation therapy (IMRT) treatment planning system from radiation therapy planning firm CMS is now in operation at three healthcare facilities.

Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh; Erasmus Medical Center in Rotterdam, the Netherlands; and Froedtert Memorial Lutheran Hospital in Milwaukee have begun producing treatment plans with the St. Louis-based company's technology.

Monaco was developed by CMS and the University of Tübingen in Germany.
