Computer-aided detection (CAD) developer Medicsight has signed a nonexclusive software license and distribution agreement with Alma IT Systems of Barcelona, Spain.
Alma will distribute Medicsight's software across Europe and South America, according to the London-based firm. As part of the agreement, Medicsight's ColonCAD API 4.0 software will be integrated into Alma's Colon viewer, a 3D visualization workstation for CT colonography data.
Medicsight said it expects Alma will offer the combined product to both clinicians and PACS customers.
