Varian reaches Danish milestone

Radiation therapy firm Varian Medical Systems said that Herlev Hospital in Denmark has treated its first patient using the vendor's RapidArc radiotherapy technology.

The patient is the first to receive RapidArc radiotherapy treatment in Denmark, according to the Palo Alto, CA-based vendor.
