Philips has reached 5,000 installations with its Zenition mobile surgery imaging system at Kolín Regional Hospital in the Czech Republic.

Since its launch in 2019, Zenition has been deployed in hospitals across more than 170 countries. The mobile C-arm platform is designed to deliver high-quality imaging with ease of use and workflow efficiency, enabling surgeons and interventional teams to perform procedures more efficiently, the company said.

The 5,000th installation coincides with the 70th anniversary of Philips introducing its first mobile C-arm in 1955, marking seven decades of continuous innovation in surgical imaging, Philips added.
