Carestream Health plans to highlight enhancements to its digital breast tomosynthesis (DBT) software module at the upcoming ECR 2015 in Vienna.
Upgrades include a slabbing tool that combines slices of a DBT series while allowing the user to choose different rendition modes and slab thicknesses; improved workflow capabilities that optimize the reading of tomosynthesis exams at the same time as other procedures; and the display of DICOM-compliant 2D synthetic views, according to the firm.
