Image display firm Barco has launched a new diagnostic display system at ECR 2014 in Vienna.
The Nio Color 2MP is the latest addition to Barco's Nio family of diagnostic, dual-head displays. Its combination of higher brightness and contrast and the company's ambient light preset control allows it to render more DICOM "just noticeable differences." It also includes Barco's patented Uniformity Luminance Technology for LED displays and also a front-of-screen sensor that works with Barco's online MediCal QAWeb management service, according to the firm.
