Agfa HealthCare plans to introduce a number of new computed radiography (CR) offerings at the upcoming European Congress of Radiology (ECR) in Vienna.
Agfa will showcase CR 10-X, a tabletop digitizer designed to offer lower-volume practices a cost-effective entry into digital imaging. The unit can handle general radiography, orthopedic, chiropractic, full leg/full spine, and dental applications, Agfa said.
Also on display will be CR 30-Xm, a high-volume desktop digitizer that can be used for both mammography and general radiology. This device is not yet available in the U.S. or Canada, Agfa said.
The company will also highlight its DX-D 800 digital x-ray room with a portable and removable flat-panel digital detector, its DX-D Retrofit, its Impax Data Center medical imaging repository, and Impax Volume Viewing, a set of advanced visualization tools, according to Agfa.
