Imaging software developer TomTec Imaging Systems is introducing its 4D Sono-Scan software at this week's RSNA conference in Chicago.
The software is designed for multivendor review of 3D/4D ultrasound data, such as fetal images and abdominal organs, with a focus on improved workflow with intuitive navigation, according to the Munich-Germany based vendor. Layouts such as multislice, cubic view, curved slice, and 3D/4D volume visualization facilitate the work for various applications.
With 4D Sono-Scan, standard 2D measurements can be used to analyze diameters, areas, or circumferences on the multiplanar reformatted (MPR) views, while the 3D volume measurement functionality enables the user to calculate the volume of any object.
4D Sono-Scan is also equipped with TomTec's SRI filter technology that provides clear 2D MPR images even if ultrasound data might not have been acquired perfectly, according to the company.
