Computer-aided detection (CAD) software developer Medicsight has launched ColonCAD API 4.0, the latest version of its CAD software, at this year's European Congress of Radiology (ECR) in Vienna.
The new version is designed to assist in detecting colorectal polyps in CT colonography image data, according to the London-based vendor.
The upgraded software includes an enhanced polyp detection algorithm, designed to reduce the number of false-positive CAD marks in patient images.
