RCR seeks applicants for oncology research fellowships

The U.K. Royal College of Radiologists (RCR) said it's now accepting applications for its 2020 Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowships (SURF) in clinical oncology.

The fellowships, which were launched last year to assist medical students in pursuing a research project in clinical oncology, will provide funding support for students to complete an eight-week fellowship over the summer. In addition, successful applicants will receive mentorship from senior academics and clinicians, according to the RCR.

Medical students in both undergraduate- and graduate-entry programs in the U.K. can apply for one of five awards up until 31 March. More details can be found on the RCR's website.
