The Mayneord Philips Trust will hold its annual summer school about cardiac imaging and modeling on 2-6 July at Queen's College, University of Oxford.
The objective of this year's program is to provide an integrative understanding of the structure and function of the human heart and the principles of cardiac imaging and modeling. It is designed for junior researchers and trainees in the fields of cardiology, computational biology, and medical physics.
The summer school will demonstrate how the combined disciplines of cardiac imaging and modeling are influencing clinical practice by providing insights into whole-organ physiology.
A number of tuition scholarships will be offered to doctoral students from developing nations.
