A U.K. Department of Health program has added pediatric skeleton image interpretation sessions to its e-learning program, which will for the first time be available outside the National Health Service (NHS).
The Image Interpretation e-learning program is a series of sessions designed to distribute e-learning content to healthcare workers. Thanks to Philips Healthcare, the content will available to those outside NHS for the first time.
The latest sessions include nonaccidental injury and join the ranks of 40 new pediatric sessions. They are designed to provide support to radiographers who give initial reports on images and also to medical and nursing staff, so they can understand the x-rays of kids who need immediate care.
Adult and pediatric abdomen, pediatric chest, cross-sectional imaging of the head, and forensic imaging sessions are currently under development.
