The RSNA will be offering a free webinar to discuss the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the gender gap in radiology.

The webinar, which will be held on 11 June from 12-1 p.m. Central Daylight Time, will explore whether the gender gap in professional advancement and productivity may be widened by circumstances surrounding COVID-19, including impacts on clinical service, educational activities and research, and the compounding stress of caregiving and related pressures, according to the RSNA.

RSNA board liaison for science Dr. Carolyn Meltzer will moderate the webinar, which will include speakers such as Dr. Judy Yee of Montefiore Medical Center, Dr. Susan Ackerman of the Medical University of South Carolina, Dr. Jeffrey Klein of the University of Vermont College of Medicine, and Dr. Theresa Caridi of MedStar Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, D.C.

Registration is required for the webinar.
