The French Society of Radiology (SFR), Medicen Paris Region, and the National Union for the Medical Technology Industry (SNITEM) have bestowed their annual prize in innovative medical imaging to virtual reality (VR) startup HypnoVR.
HypnoVR has developed a VR software and hardware bundle that incorporates medical hypnosis techniques to reduce the stress and anxiety of patients during procedures requiring anesthesia. The company was founded by medical hypnosis experts Drs. Denis Graff and Chloé Chauvin.
