The U.K.'s Royal College of Radiologists (RCR) and the Association of Breast Clinicians (ABC) have developed a new three-year breast imaging accreditation program to train more doctors to become expert breast clinicians.
The program, called Credential in Breast Disease Management, was also supported by the National Breast Imaging Academy (NBIA). Its curriculum covers breast examination and imaging, disease management, and genetic risk factors. The program has received funding from Health Education England (HEE) and is now being piloted in seven English hospital trusts, the RCR said.
