Redla becomes BIR president-elect

The British Institute of Radiology (BIR) has named Dr. Sridhar Redla as its president-elect for the 2020-2022 term.

He will replace Dr. Jane Phillips-Hughes when her term as president ends in September 2020.

Redla currently serves as a consultant radiologist and associate medical director for cancer, cardiology, and clinical support services at Princess Alexandra Hospital in Harlow, U.K. He also was chair of BIR's clinical imaging special interest group and played a key role in developing the BIR annual congress.
