The Royal College of Radiologists (RCR) and the Society and College of Radiographers (SCoR) have developed and released a second edition of a good practice guide for pediatric radiotherapy.
The guide takes into account the increasing adoption of intensity-modulated radiotherapy and image-guided radiotherapy, as well as the development of national proton beam radiotherapy services in the U.K., according to the RCR and the SCoR. The two organizations collaborated with the Children's Cancer and Leukemia Group (CCLG) and the Institute of Physics and Engineering in Medicine (IPEM) to develop the document.
