The European Association of Nuclear Medicine (EANM) is searching for new members to serve on its drug development committee.
The association said interested volunteers can email Magdalena Schwartz at the EANM office for more information. The application deadline is 15 April.
In other EANM news, the association said it contributed recently to the Alliance for Biomedical Research in Europe's recommendations for the European Union's (EU) ninth Framework Programme for Research and Innovation (FP9). Believing that health research is often too complex to be supported and managed effectively at the national level, the alliance called for more robust EU support for health research, including increased funding under FP9 and the development of a long-term strategy involving the creation of a European Council for Health Research.
