The British Institute of Radiology (BIR) has posted a podcast on multiparametric breast MRI featuring Dr. Katja Pinker, a professor of radiology at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York City and senior editor of BJR|case reports.
The podcast delves into her recent article published in the British Journal of Radiology on the potential of multiparametric MRI of the breast. She discusses how to combine the information from dynamic contrast-enhanced MRI and diffusion-weighted imaging (DWI), how to integrate the technology into the clinical routine, and what she sees in the future for multiparametric MRI, including how some emerging techniques will develop.
"I think that the future for multiparametric MRI is actually, in breast, very bright," she said.
