The international program has been finalized for the 98th German Radiology Congress (Deutscher Röntgenkongress, RöKo 2017), which takes place at the Congress Center in Leipzig from 24 to 27 May.
The English-language part of the event begins with a look at MRI contrast agents by delving into risk assessment, unenhanced MR angiography, and alternatives to contrast in clinical MRI applications. On the same day, a session on interventional oncology is followed by two forums on incidental findings in cancer patients.
On 26 May, the meeting will address musculoskeletal imaging of the shoulder, knee, and bone tumors. Next is a session on brain imaging and the expectations of 7-tesla MRI. In the afternoon, the focus is on big data and IT, followed by head and neck imaging.
Several noteworthy sessions highlight the third and final day, which begins with cardiovascular imaging and breast imaging. In the afternoon, attendees will hear about challenges faced in Turkey with imaging refugees and dealing with mass casualties related to terror and assault victims.
