At the recent RSNA 2015 meeting, the British Institute of Radiology (BIR) became a member of the American Roentgen Ray Society (ARRS) Global Partner Society Program.
The program brings together medical imaging societies from around the world. As part of the arrangement, BIR members will receive benefits such as complimentary ARRS membership for trainees, discounted memberships for full members, and free access to an article from the American Journal of Roentgenology (AJR) each month, the BIR said.
The two organizations will work together on a reciprocal marketing initiative to promote each others' services, according to the BIR.
