As talks continue this week between the British Medical Association (BMA) and the government, junior doctors in England have elected not to go ahead with their planned 48-hour strike next Tuesday.
An upcoming planned strike for 10 February could still take place, though, if negotiations stall, according to a report on BBC News. Unlike last week's 24-hour strike in which junior doctors still provided emergency cover, the February strike would be a complete walk-out, the BBC reported.
