The German Radiological Society (DRG) will present several lectures at RSNA 2015 during a special "Germany presents at RSNA" session.
On 30 November, congress participants in Chicago will be taken on a virtual journey to the distant Remscheid-Lennep, the birthplace of Wilhelm Conrad Röntgen. Dr. Norbert Hosten will deliver the opening speech.
Then Dr. Fabian Bamberg will present on "Why population imaging may help in advancing radiology: The German National Cohort," followed by Dr. Katrin Hegenscheid, who will present, "What is normal? Reference values derived from population imaging and their role in clinical practice."
Dr. Sabine Weckbach will present "No need to look for incidental findings? Role in clinical and research settings," and Dr. Marc Dewey will speak about "Biomarkers of cardiac function in population-based studies."
Discussion and closing remarks will be led by Dr. Gabriele Krombach and Dr. James P. Borgstede, RSNA board liaison for international affairs.
