The Global Diagnostic Imaging, Healthcare IT and Radiation Therapy Trade Association (DITTA) has released a new brochure that describes the importance of refurbishing medical devices and parts in a circular economy.
The brochure notes how the practice of refurbishing contributes to the three pillars of sustainability: environment, economy, and society. DITTA vice chair Nicole Denjoy said in a statement that refurbishment of medical equipment helps save energy and resources while preventing unnecessary waste.
