The U.K. Royal College of Radiologists (RCR) has released its first virtual special issue of Clinical Radiology, with a focus on breast imaging.
The issue has been curated by Dr. Andrew Evans, a professor of breast imaging at the University of Dundee. He explores the idea that the main barrier to improving patient care is often a lack of understanding of disease behavior, natural history, and the ability to predict response to treatment.
Virtual special issues will provide selected collections of recent articles in key topic areas, RCR said. Each virtual edition will be curated on the journal website by a prominent guest editor and accompanied by a guest editorial that will highlight papers from Clinical Radiology and other sources.
