Radiation oncology firm Elekta led a group that raised nearly 31,000 euros for the nonprofit organization Radiating Hope during the third European Society for Radiotherapy and Oncology (ESTRO) Forum in Barcelona, Spain.
Radiating Hope's mission is to improve cancer care, specifically radiation oncology care, around the world. Radiating Hope cooperates with hospitals and clinics to refurbish equipment and ship it to developing countries.
Elekta worked with its customers in raising the funds.
