The Japan Medical Imaging and Radiological Systems Industries Association (JIRA) has begun a two-year chairmanship of the Global Diagnostic Imaging, Healthcare IT, and Radiation Therapy Trade Association (DITTA).
JIRA follows the leadership efforts of the European Coordination Committee of the Radiological, Electromedical, and Healthcare IT Industry (COCIR). Nicole Denjoy, COCIR's secretary general, chaired DITTA in 2013 and 2014.
Denjoy remains as DITTA vice chair, and Gail Rodriguez, executive director of the Medical Imaging and Technology Alliance (MITA), will also remain as vice chair.
In the past two years, DITTA launched a new branding campaign and issued a publication on refurbishing medical devices, among other accomplishments.
