The European Association of Cardiovascular Imaging (EACVI) said it will host a summer course on nuclear cardiac and CT imaging in France.
The meeting, to be held on 3-5 July in Sophia Antipolis, France, will outline the principles underlying scintigraphic and CT imaging, as well as image processing and radiation, organizers said. Also covered will be protocols for image processing and reporting, and discussions on the value of radionuclide and CT imaging in various clinical settings, including coronary artery disease screening, acute and chronic chest pain, and heart failure.
Additionally, differences between invasive and noninvasive imaging techniques, with a focus on MRI and stress echocardiography will be reviewed. Extensive case reviews will be presented every day, according to the organizers. More information is available here.
