Eliseo Vano, PhD, an adviser to the Spanish Ministry of Health for radiation protection in medical exposures, has received the Journal of Vascular and Interventional Radiology (JVIR) award for the outstanding clinical research paper for "Radiation-Associated Lens Opacities in Catheterization Personnel: Results of a Survey and Direct Assessments."
The JVIR, the Society of Interventional Radiology's (SIR) peer-reviewed scientific journal, along with the SIR Foundation, will present awards for clinical research and laboratory investigations at SIR's annual scientific meeting in San Diego.
