The European Society of Radiology (ESR) is organizing a special radiation protection session during the "Management in Radiology" annual meeting in Barcelona on 9 October.
The event is designed for senior radiologists and will feature Dr. Madan Rehani, ESR's director of radiation protection, and Dr. Peter Vock, chairman of the ESR Radiation Protection Subcommittee, as the lead speakers.
The four-and-half-hour forum will discuss radiation dose quantities, radiation effects, dose limits and levels, pregnancy, requirements, and policies.
