German medical device manufacturer Ulrich Medical has established a subsidiary in Spain.
As part of an asset deal, longtime trading partner EuroAutomation will transfer its contrast media injector business to Ulrich. The new subsidiary, Ulrich Medical España, will be responsible for direct support and sales.
“Our partner in Spain has installed a considerable number of contrast media injectors over the years and thus contributed significantly to our success in Spain,” said Ulrich Medical CEO Klaus Kiesel in a statement. “The establishment of our Spanish subsidiary is another important component of our growth strategy."
Ulrich Medical España was founded on 10 July and will begin trading on 1 October. Christophe Martinez, previous sales manager of Ulrich Medical France, will serve as managing director.
