Preclinical imaging technology developer MR Solutions showcased a line of preclinical PET/CT systems at the recent European Association of Nuclear Medicine (EANM) annual meeting in Barcelona, Spain.
The four models include a small benchtop PET/CT scanner and can accommodate small animals up to 12 kg, according to the vendor. MR Solutions also noted that the scanner's PET subsystem is based on the company's proprietary clip-on technology and is compatible with the firm's CT systems and its MRI systems up to 9.4 tesla.
In addition, the CT subsystems are self-shielded and come with a zoom functionality that enables them to reach 5 µm in resolution, MR Solutions said.
