Radiation oncology vendor Elekta is presenting its High Definition Dynamic Radiosurgery (HDRS) oncology platform at this week's annual meeting of the European Society for Radiotherapy & Oncology (ESTRO) in Vienna.
Combining Elekta's Versa HD linear accelerator and Monaco treatment planning system, HDRS enables clinicians to deliver high-volume advanced stereotactic radiosurgery and stereotactic body radiation therapy within standard treatment time slots, according to the vendor. The product can deliver highly efficient stereotactic treatments in shorter or fewer arcs, it said.
