Heart rhythm software developer Acutus Medical has received the CE Mark for its AcQMap high-resolution imaging and mapping system, as well as its AcQMap catheter.
AcQMap is designed to detect and display both standard voltage-based and higher resolution charge-source maps and generate real-time 3D images of the heart chamber using ultrasound.
The CE Mark comes shortly after the company successfully completed $75 million U.S. (66 million euros) in financing to expand commercial operations in the European community and beyond.
The device is not yet available for sale in the U.S.
