Medical imaging vendor Planmed has unveiled Clarity 3D, a full-field digital mammography that performs digital breast tomosynthesis (DBT) imaging.
Clarity 3D features Planmed's continuous sync-and-shoot technique, which is designed to eliminate motion blur and artifact intrusion in tomosynthesis, the company said. It also has a small footprint, enabling it to be installed in small rooms and plugged into a standard wall outlet, according to Planmed.
Deliveries are expected to begin in the autumn in select international markets.
