Shimadzu has released its new Radspeed fit digital radiography (DR) system for general radiographic applications, such as chest, abdomen, extremities, and emergency imaging.
Radspeed fit can be combined with either a digital or analog image processing system, making it an entry-level DR system equipped with a flat-panel digital x-ray detector or to complement an existing computed radiography or DR environment, according to the company. Features include a large-output x-ray high-voltage generator for shorter exposure times and minimized blur in images.
Radspeed fit also offers a large examination range through a floating tabletop that can be slid either in a longitudinal or lateral direction.
