Perspectum is highlighting the results of a study showing the cost-effectiveness of the company's LiverMultiScan software, published on 8 September in BMJ Open.

LiverMultiScan is the company's noninvasive liver health diagnostic software application, which is enhanced by artificial intelligence (AI).

The study showed that the tool demonstrated "significant" cost-savings for 100 patients over five years when surveillance liver biopsies were replaced by LiverMultiScan. These savings were estimated to be up to 336,926 euros. The study authors also suggested that the tool can help improve clinical decision-making, patient safety, and experience, citing previous research.
