The Gustave Roussy cancer center in Paris has selected radiation dose management firm Medsquare's Radiation Dose Monitor patient dose monitoring software.
For the contract, signed via the French purchasing group Resah, Gustave Roussy indicated that it wants to replace its existing dose archiving and communication system (DACS), with the need to recover and utilize data from its previous DACS.
With Radiation Dose Monitor, patient dose data can be consolidated and used anonymously for research purposes. The goal is to share and use monitoring data (dose history) for clinical research at any time.
In addition, Gustave Roussy could be at the center of a regional DACS in the Île-de-France region. A deployment is currently underway at Bordeaux University Hospital, which will soon benefit from the patient dose monitoring software, Medsquare said.
