PACS vendor Sectra reported more than 13% growth in net sales and a similar increase in operating profit in its 2017/2018 fiscal fourth quarter.
For the period (end-April 30), Sectra had net sales of 387.9 million Swedish kronor (37.5 million euros), up 13.8% on a nominal basis and up 13.9% on a currency-comparable basis from the 340.8 million kronor (33 million euros) reported in the fourth quarter of 2016/2017. The company had profit after tax of 90.8 million kronor (8.8 million euros), compared with profit after tax of 58.6 million kronor (5.7 million euros) in the same period last year.
For fiscal 2017/2018, Sectra had net sales of 1.27 billion kronor (122.5 million euros), up 11% on a nominal basis and up 12.5% on a currency-comparable basis from the 1.14 billion kronor (110.3 million euros) reported in 2016/2017. The firm had annual profit after tax of 198.3 million kronor (19.2 million euros), compared with profit after tax of 152.6 million kronor (14.8 million euros) last year.
