French contrast developer Guerbet has hired Francois Nicolas as chief digital officer to add weight to its digital innovation strategy.
Nicolas comes to Guerbet with almost 20 years of experience in designing and developing biomarkers and healthcare products using digital technologies. He served most recently as chief operating officer of start-up Impeto, a role he moved to following a stint as business strategy manager for medical services and devices in the diabetes division at Sanofi. Nicolas also spent 15 years with GE Healthcare in France and abroad, Guerbet said. He will join Guerbet's executive committee and report to CEO Yves L'Epine.
In related news, Guerbet has also nominated Thibaut Viort to its board of directors. Viort is an expert specialized in new business models linked to digital technology, according to the company.
